  • Congratulations to Barney for being selected for the JROS training camp at Lagganlia near Aviemore this summer. Only 24 Juniors (M/W14s) from across the country obtain places at this camp, so there has been stiff competition at the qualifying events which included the JK & the British & regional championships.

  • This year's Suffolk Schools Orienteering Championships were held on Thursday 24th May. There had previously been regional heats in Eye, Beyton & Bury St Edmunds & ten teams from eight schools had qualified for the final, held for the second year running at the Thorpe Woodlands Adventure Centre in Thetford Forest.

The team results have been summarised here and the full event results can be read on the Essex Stragglers' website.

Our team will go on to compete in the final in Arrow Park, near Redditch, on 1st July..
